For 2008, the Isuzu Ascender continues unchanged and offered in both 2WD and 4WD versions. It shares its platform with the Chevrolet TrailBlzer and the GMC Envoy. In 2003 it served as the replacement for the Trooper. This is Isuzu's largest and most powerful SUV. In 2004, a short-wheelbase version with seating for five was added.
